If you live, work, worship, go to school or volunteer within our field of membership, you’re eligible to join! Immediate family members of current members also qualify. All it takes is a minimum $5 deposit into a savings account, giving you your share of ownership in the credit union.

Before you begin, you may want to gather the following items:
- Valid Government Issued ID. Your full name, birth date, and Tax ID are required for membership. Your Government Issued ID is a great place to find that information.
- Joint/Beneficiary Information. Gather name, birth date and Tax ID for any Joint Account holders or Beneficiaries you want to add to your account.
- Proof of Address. For example, a utility bill, lease or rental agreement, mortgage documents, recent pay stub, DMV documents, or other items that confirm your address. Remember, you must live, work, worship or volunteer within BFCU’s field of membership.
