Next Gen Money Hub

Empowering Youth to Build Bright Futures

We believe great money habits start early. That's why Baylands Family Credit Union offers two programs designed to meet kids and teens right where they are — from their very first piggy bank moment to their first real paycheck.

Both programs are free, fun, and built to set young members up for a lifetime of financial confidence.

Bailey's Barnyard Savings Club (Kids 12 and under)

Plant the Seed.Watch Your Savings Grow.

Saving money should be fun and feel like an adventure, and for kids 12 and under, it can! Bailey's Barnyard Savings Club turns everyday deposits into a BFCU Youth Savings Account into something to get excited about. Your child will join Bailey and his Barnyard Pals on a savings journey filled with activities, rewards, and real skills that grow right along with their piggy bank.

Bailey's Barnyard Savings Club Activity Hub

Learning about money should be as fun as spending it. The Barnyard Savings Club Activity Hub is packed with kid-friendly games, worksheets, and hands-on activities that make financial concepts click , for kids and parents alike. New activities added regularly!

As kids grow into their teen years, BFCU has another great resource to guide them along the way.

Start Smart Society (Youth 13-17)

Start Smart. Live Smarter. Own Your Future.

The teenage years are when financial habits really start to stick. Our Start Smart Society program meets teens at this pivotal moment, whether they're cashing their first paycheck, saving up for a car, or figuring out how a debit card actually works.

This isn't your typical lecture on budgeting. It's practical, bite-sized financial education built for real life. The program also pairs well with a teen member’s first debit card, with a parent or guardian’s permission, of course, via a Next Gen Checking Account.

💡  Designed for teens. Perfect for parents and teens to explore together.
