BFCU Tools for School Supply Drive

Baylands Family Credit Union is excited to launch the 2026 BFCU Tools for School Supply Drive, a community effort focused on helping local students head back to school prepared, confident, and ready to succeed.

Throughout the summer, members, staff, and community partners are invited to donate new school supplies that will directly support students and families in our local communities. From backpacks and notebooks to pencils, crayons, calculators, and folders, every donation helps give students the tools they need for a successful school year.

Recently, a member received a call. The caller ID said "Baylands Family Credit Union." The voice was professional, courteous, and convincing. They said there was suspicious activity on the account and needed to verify the member's identity "for security purposes."

It all seemed so real.

But it wasn't us. It was a scammer. And the member could have lost everything.
