Baylands Family Credit Union is an institution founded on the philosophy of “People helping People.” We are dedicated to making a difference not only in the lives of our members but within the communities we serve. We provide donations and volunteer time and other resources in support of many local organizations.

Sponsorship and Community

At BFCU, we believe in the power of partnership. Through strategic sponsorships, we actively support the organizations and initiatives that matter most to our members and neighbors. By investing in local events and community efforts within our field of membership, we help strengthen the foundations that make our community thrive, because when our community succeeds, we all succeed together. While we would like to be able to fill each request for support, it is not feasible to do so. We must limit the scope of our support to levels that are responsible and in the best interest of our membership.

If you are interested in BFCU supporting your organization, please download and complete the BFCU Sponsorship & Community Support Application. Please email the completed form and any supporting documentation to marketing@baylandsfcu.org!

Sponsorship & Community Support Guidelines

Requests must be submitted on the BFCU Sponsorship & Community Support Application

  • Consideration for sponsorship will be based on funds availability.
  • Requests from BFCU members will be given priority.
  • Donations may be money, gift baskets, raffle prizes, financial education training, or volunteer support.

Preference will be given to requests that:

  • Reflect the mission and core values of Baylands Family Credit Union
  • Fulfill a relevant need and benefit the community at large

Baylands Family Credit Union will not consider requests for the following:

  • Operating or administrative costs to run an organization or business
  • The promotion of any religious or political organizations or events
  • Organizations who represent a conflict of interest to the Credit Union
  • Individual sponsorship of a participant in sports activities or beauty pageants, including travel and competition costs
  • Direct contributions to individuals or families in need
