IDCheck for Shared Branching

Baylands Family Credit Union prioritizes your security and protecting you from potential fraud. That is why we are introducing a new ID proofing measure for your in-person visits to Shared Branch locations and for guest members visiting BFCU branches. This new fraud prevention measure allows us to make certain it is you trying to access your account, not an imposter.

If you bank at one of our Shared Branch locations or a guest member comes to BFCU, a staff member can now identify and authenticate members with out-of-state IDs in the branch through a QR code and one-time passcode multi-factor authentication verification. This additional layer of authentication will be used for loan payments, cashier’s checks, deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account inquiries.

Please ask a staff member next time you are in the branch if you have any questions. You can also you the link below to learn more
