A Message from our CEO
As we enter our 80th year, Baylands Family Credit Union is proud to celebrate eight decades of service, growth, and community involvement. Baylands started with a simple idea at the Chesapeake Corporation paper mill: co-workers helping each other achieve their financial goals. This guiding principle has expanded beyond serving mill employees and their families to include members of the broader community and surrounding counties, and remains central to everything we do - from how we serve our members to our embrace of innovation for the future.
The past year has been filled with exciting progress and significant milestones. We introduced our new Online Financial Wellness Center, Tap-to-Pay debit cards, a revamped website, updated checking and savings account options, and a Credit Builder loan. These achievements reflect our commitment to growth, innovation, and enhancing the member experience. As we look forward to 2026, we do so with gratitude and optimism. We are proud of our rich history and the trust we have built over the years, and we are equally excited about what lies ahead with further investments in technology, improved member resources, and new opportunities to help our members and communities thrive.
