Spring Shred-A-Thon

Clean out. Give back. 

Spring cleaning season is here — and we're making it easy to do two good things at once. Join us at our Norge location for the Spring 2026 Shred-A-Thon, hosted in partnership with ProShred® and FISH. Safely destroy your sensitive documents and support local families facing food insecurity and need for basic hygiene supplies, all in one stop.

What to bring for shredding: Bills, bank statements, credit card statements, old tax returns, and any other confidential paperwork you're ready to let go. Each vehicle may bring up to three file boxes or bags (max size: 18"L × 12"W × 10"H). While you're at it, raid the pantry. We're also collecting unexpired non-perishable food and hygiene items for FISH, a community support cornerstone since 1975. Your donation goes directly to neighbors in need right here in our area. Meet Kayla

Say hello to Kayla, a Member Service Representative at our West Point Branch. Though she’s only been with Baylands for a few months, she fits right in, contributing like a seasoned team member. Kayla loves building connections with both her colleagues and our members and it shows in everything she does.

Outside of work, Kayla treasures family time and supporting her child’s academic and athletic achievements. When she’s ready to unwind, you might find her tending her garden or diving into video games like Dragon Age or Minecraft. When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Kayla shared: 

"Being a part of the community I grew up in. Supporting members I’ve known for years and contributing to the branch’s continued success through my work is truly rewarding."
