‘Tis the Season – Community Impact

Baylands Family Credit Union is passionate about serving its members and about making an impact in the communities where members live. During this holiday season, Baylands branches are working to make a positive contribution to local families during these challenging times. Below is some information about the charities Baylands will be supporting this holiday season:

Give What You Can
Chesterfield Branch Manager, Dottie, and her staff are proud to be supporting the Chesterfield Food Bank for the fourth year in a row. Hunger has no color, gender, or age barrier, so the opportunity to help feed local children, parents, and grandparents during the holiday season is crucial. Holiday Dreams
Branch Operations Manager, Mary, along with staff at our West Point and New Kent locations, are looking forward to participating in the “Christmas Dreams” program of King William County for the third year. The holiday season is special for everyone, but especially for kids. The “Christmas Dreams” program helps fulfill Christmas wishes for needy children up to age 18. Pumpkin Patch for Kids
Norge Branch Supervisor, Jodie, is very excited to once again partner with the Grove Christian Outreach Center for the fifth year in a row - bringing some holiday cheer to families in need. The Norge branch will have spectacular hand-painted pumpkins available for a donation that will go directly to support children in need who live in the local James City County area. Check out their website to learn more about the Grove Christian Outreach Center.

How Can I Help?
Consider stopping by your local Baylands branch to make a donation. We know times are tough, so any help is appreciated. Also, spread the word to friends and family and share upcoming social media posts about holiday charity efforts.
