The BayLands FCU Visa® Debit Card is the easiest, quickest, and most convenient way to access you money. This one card eliminates the hassles of carrying a checkbook, writing a share draft check and waiting for approval at the checkout. Just present your debit card anywhere Visa® DEBIT is accepted and the transaction is processed in a matter of seconds.

 

How does it work and differ from a credit card?
The Visa® Debit Card is connected directly with your share draft account at the credit union. When you make a purchase with the debit card, the funds are immediately removed from your share draft (checking) account to pay for the purchase. A regular Visa® credit card works off of a line-of-credit.

 

What happens to my BayLands FCU ATM (automated teller machine) card?
The Visa Debit Card replaces your ATM card. Not only can you make
purchases with your debit card but it serves as your ATM card to use in
ATMs to withdraw cash from your accounts.
