 e-Statement Frequently asked Questions

What information is available through BayLands e-Statement program?
Members can receive their account statements free via email and our secure web browser.

How much does e-Statements cost?
There is no charge for our e-Statement program.  In fact, once you are an e-Statement member, you will be eligible to receive special offers via email.

Is my e-Statement account protected from others viewing it?
Your information is protected with the latest security features and requires authentication controls that only you will know using 128-bit encryption security.

What kind of computer equipment and software do I need?
You do not need any special computer configuration or software package to access your e-Statements, jus a computer, modem, internet access and a browser that supports 128-bit encryption.

Viewing your e-Statement
You must log into your online banking website and click on the link that says "account" and then "statements"

What if I delete my e-Statement notification?
Even if you accidentally delete the notification all you have to do is log into our online banking by clicking on the link at the top of www.baylandsfcu.org page that says "Online Banking Center".

What if I no longer want to receive my statement electronically? How do I stop receiving e-Statements?
You can switch back to the paper version of your statements at any time. Contact a credit union representative by phone at (804) 843-2520 or email einfo@baylandsfcu.org and ask to change your statements back to paper.

Can I have my e-Statement email notification sent to two different email addresses?
We can only send your e-Statement notification to one email address; however, you can access your statements via any computer with Internet access. Simply go to the PC Teller Logon and select e-Statement from the menu.

How can I get a paper copy of my statement?
You can print any statement or notice from your library of available statements and notices. If you would like to print a copy, there are three different options to do so:

 

  1. Selecting File/Print from the menu bar at the top of the e-Statement screen;
  2. Clicking on the Printer-Friendly Text Only View option under the masthead; or
  3. Clicking on the Download Statement as PDF file option under the masthead.

(NOTE: With options #1 and #2 you may have to adjust your printer margins the first time you print by selecting File/Page Setup from the menu bar and setting the left and right margins to .25 each)
You may also request a paper copy of your statement any time for a fee by calling the credit union.

Can joint members sign the enrollment form for e-Statements?
For privacy reasons, only the primary member can sign an account up for e-Statements

How do I notify the credit union of my new email address?
You can change your email address online, contact a credit union representative by phone at (804) 843-2520 or email einfo@baylandsfcu.org.

When, during the month, will my e-Statement be available online for my viewing?
Your e-Statement will be available approximately the first week of the month.

How long will the statement remain 'online'?
BayLands Federal Credit Union's e-Statement program will provide the last 12 months statements.

Can my e-Statement information be exported to other programs?
BayLands Federal Credit Union e-Statements can be saved as a text file and imported into Microsoft Word or another text program. You can also download information into MS Money, Excel, or Quicken by clicking on the "Download" link in PC Teller.
